Cobra Electronics Corporation has announced two Aries Manufacturing-made Bluetooth headsets. The Deluxe Bluetooth Headset and Premium Bluetooth Headset are focused on high-quality sound.
"Aries is a leader in the wireless accessory market. We are proud to bring our Bluetooth wireless technology line to the consumer market with them," said Jim Bazet, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cobra Electronics Corporation.
The Deluxe Bluetooth Headset is implemented with T5 Sonance Noise Cancellation Technology, which blocks background noise, a common technological need and use in such devices.
Both the Deluxe and Premium Bluetooth Headsets were tested by professional drivers that need this type of equipment. "These pieces have already received outstanding reviews from professional drivers as being the best on the market with their superior sound quality and modern comfort, and we are thrilled to provide that same quality to our consumer market," said Tom Novak, president of Aries Manufacturing, licensees of the new Cobra wireless accessory line of products.
The Deluxe Bluetooth Headset will be priced at US$99.95, and feature an easy access one-touch on/off button and volume controls, 8 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby.
The Premium Bluetooth Headset will be priced at a more affordable US$59.95, and will provide 7 hours of talk time and standby time of 150 hours.
Both phones will come with three chargers, for the home, USB, and vehicle. The charging time will be less than three hours. The home chargers are environmentally-friendly, as they power down automatically once charging is complete.
Press release after the break.
New Cobra® Bluetooth® Wireless Technology Devices Provide Clearest Sound Available
Sound quality as crisp as if user was speaking directly into phone
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aries Manufacturing, a licensee of Cobra Electronics Corporation, announces the release of two new additions to the highly anticipated Cobra line of Bluetooth® wireless technology products, expanding the brand into the wireless accessory market. The product debut features the Deluxe Bluetooth® Headset with T5 Sonance Noise Cancellation Technology as well as the Premium Bluetooth® Headset, providing professional grade, crystal clear sound to the mass consumer market.
“Consumers are tired of expensive Bluetooth® wireless technology devices that do not provide clear sound. Our new handsfree headset line eliminates these common issues, providing unmatched sound in the industry,” says Tom Novak, president of Aries Manufacturing, licensees of the new Cobra wireless accessory line of products. “With legislations being passed nationwide banning the use of cell phones while driving, it is a necessity to have a handsfree unit that provides clear sound. Cobra has stepped up to meet these regulations, presenting consumers with an outstanding alternative that produces sound at the highest quality and sounds as though you are talking in a quiet room,” adds Novak.
“Aries is a leader in the wireless accessory market. We are proud to bring our Bluetooth® wireless technology line to the consumer market with them,” says Jim Bazet, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cobra Electronics Corporation.
The Deluxe Bluetooth® Headset with T5 Sonance Noise Cancellation Technology as well as the Premium Bluetooth® Headset have been tested among professional drivers that rely on the handsfree communications devices. “These pieces have already received outstanding reviews from professional drivers as being the best on the market with their superior sound quality and modern comfort, and we are thrilled to provide that same quality to our consumer market,” states Novak.
The pioneering Deluxe Bluetooth® Headset ($99.95) is designed for consumers who require extreme versatility with their wireless needs. Its intelligent audio design with the addition of T5 Sonance Noise Cancellation Technology blocks outside noises by counteracting any interfering sound frequencies, allowing for clear cellular transmission that is unrivaled by other Bluetooth® wireless technology devices.
Worn over the head and on either ear, the Deluxe Bluetooth® Headset features an adjustable boom arm so the microphone can be leveled at a position most comfortable for the user. An easy access one-touch on/off button and volume controls, 8 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time provide a convenient and customizable alternative to other handsfree headset devices. These highlights and the unrivaled, clear sound combine to create the very best handsfree Bluetooth® wireless accessory on the market.
The lightweight Premium Bluetooth® Headset ($59.95) has been designed for optimum performance as well as maximum comfort with a sleek and understated size. Offering the most exceptional sound quality of any Bluetooth® wireless accessory device of its kind available, the Premium Bluetooth® Headset provides 7 hours of talk time and an advanced standby time of 150 hours. The Premium Bluetooth® Headset has a soft, adjustable ear hook that can be worn over either ear to accommodate both left- and right-handed individuals. A one-touch answer/end button and easily reachable volume controls lay flush against the device to maintain the simple design.
Both devices come with three chargers (home, USB and vehicle) to ensure users maximum power no matter where they may find themselves without it. In addition, a conservative charge time of less than 3 hours, an LED status indicator, a soft, adjustable ear clip and wide-based volume control equip mobile consumers with optimum convenience and ease. The home chargers included with each headset are also eco-friendly as they automatically power down to conserve energy once charging is complete.
The Premium Bluetooth® Headset and Deluxe Bluetooth® Headset are currently available at select retailers and www.CobraHandsFree.com.
