Motorola has officially announced its new MOTO Q 11 smartphone, a device that began to emerge in South America during the last week. The Q11 looks like the company Q9C and Q9h smartphones, but an update sports body design and features reduced a bit to make it more affordable. To this end, the Q11 has no type of 3G connectivity to all and is more quad-band GSM / EDGE support, although it maintains the same Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.
The MOTO Q 11 has a 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera and a microSD (INFO) card slot for up to 32 GB of storage room for expansion. Like the Q9, the Q11 sports 2.4 “, 262K color QVGA resolution display and offers GPS functionality. It is equipped even with the support of the latter standard Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi.
With its standard 1170mAh battery installed, the Q11 measures 117mm x 64mm x 11.7mm (4.6 “x 2.5″ x .46 “) in size and weighs 115g honorably light (4.1 oz). The battery should last up to 450 minutes of talk time or 8 days of standby time. The battery can be recharged through the Q11 of micro-USB connector.
The Motorola Q11 should be available for purchase in December 2008. No price or market availability information was provided at that time.
