Siemens S66 review

        A great phone we have experimented is the Siemens S66, a phone that was designed to revolutionize the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/1/2005 the S66 supports the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 109 x 48 x 18 mm and weighting only 98 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Siemens S66 comes with a nice little camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 960 px / 5X Zoom / Self-Timer / Video Recorder. It comes with a 750 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 5.00 hours and provides in standby mode 250 hours. Its creators incorporated a 10 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! Summing to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with RS-MMC memory cards.

         An attractive option of the Siemens S66 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 132 x 176 px. Siemens has equipped its S66 with a 40 chords ringtone player, making a great phone for you to add all the ringtones you wish. If you like skinnable phones you will appreciate to know that the S66 has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Siemens S66 runs on J2ME, providing cool little games! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the S66 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.

        Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The phone includes a calendar which is very intuitive and Siemens provided a phone book having a capacity of 1000. The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The S66 is supporting streaming media of type being based on the MPEG-4 technology.

        The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) technology. The S66 comes with an infrared port for all your data transfer. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to share data between both systems. We believe the Siemens S66 to be an awesome cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
