HP unveiled its new iPAQ Voice Messenger today, with a 3.1 megapixel autofocus and a camera integrated GPS receiver. The new Voice Messenger also a sport hybrid 20-key QWERTY keyboard for entering text quickly, and a 2.4 “QVGA.
The iPAQ Voice Messenger is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, and has 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of internal storage, which is supported by a microSD card slot for extra storage. The connectivity is supported with quad-band GSM support, in addition to tri-band UMTS with HSDPA for super-fast transfers data. WiFi is also on board to help when in range of a hotspot.
HP iPAQ expects the Voice Messenger to be available through Vodafone UK in November 2008 with other countries and carriers soon. The price is set at GBP333 before taxes and subsidies.
