Motorola W220: Motorola w220 is a class handset presented by the Motorola Company. The phone comes in a folding design. The phone comes in only one design that is the combination of black and silver color. It is a very well designed handset mostly for the customers who are looking have a well designed phone in a reasonable price. Though, the latest multimedia devices such as camera is not embedded with the phone but it is overall good phone which provide quality basic phone services.
The phone has all standard call features including the call waiting, call divert and conference call. The call volume of the phone is very loud and clear, though the hands-free speakers are not included.
It is an entry level handset from Motorola that presents with the basic multimedia functions. The FM radio along with the earphone is a nice feature of the phone in such a reasonable price. Though, the phone doesn’t provide the facility of external display, but the status icons serves best according to the basic requirements of the user. The phone includes three large icons that appear on receiving a call, message or while the battery is charging.
All basic phone features are available in the phone like date, time, organizer, alarm clock, calculator and the games. The phone has a memory up to 600 entries and for the last 30 calls of each type in a separate list. The wired stereo headset comes along with the phone kit.
The phone has a color screen with the dimension of 1.5 inch and a resolution of 128*128 pixels. The screen view of the phone is not so best, and it is of a small size. Despite that it is enough to support the basic utilities of the phone. The dialed numbers appear in a larger font and easily readable.
The dial pad of the phone is good and presents a standard set of control. The key features of the dial pad are the five way navigation key, two selection buttons, and answer and end call key. The keypads light of the phone is blue and the button are quite smooth. The phone is a reasonable purchase in with the standard Motorola interface that has good speed of navigation and other features.
The built in FM radio is the unique feature of the phone, that comes with excellent sound and connectivity. It has an optional stereo headphone facility.
