Samsung SGH-T609 review

        An outstanding phone we had a look at is the Samsung SGH-T609, a phone that was conceived to compete this year's market. Launched around 01/4/2006 the SGH-T609 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 91 x 46 x 22 mm and having a weight of only 83 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The Samsung SGH-T609 is including a compact camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 960 px / Zoom / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 3.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 144 hours. Its creators incorporated a 25.0 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! Summing to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with microSD / TransFlash memory cards.

         A cool thing of the Samsung SGH-T609 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The screen on this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 176 x 220 px. If you love to skin your phone you will like to know the SGH-T609 enables custom. The gaming engine Samsung SGH-T609 runs on J2ME, supporting fun little games! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the SGH-T609 has support for both SMS and EMS.

        Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The calendar available is very easy to use and Samsung included a phone book enabling a contact list of 1000. The prediction text tool is based on the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange information.
