Sony Ericsson W550 is a new family of music phones launched, along with W 550i and W 550c. it is a tribune/ GPRS phone that combines music, imaging and game playing to offer individuals a great companion who provides fun and entertainment, where ever they are, while still being alone. It is another walkman phone that aims to the fun lovers who always try and enjoy with whatever they are going through. It is thoroughly made keeping in mind those individuals who like to carry class along with sharing each and capturing each moment of their lives. It is small and sleek phone with a feature of round-flip option. The two external high quality stereo speakers deliver excellent sound quality of advanced digital music player. However, stereo headphones are also provided so as to maintain a wireless connectivity to hear the music. Thanks to Disc2Phone PC software and 256 MB internal memory of the phone which helps in loading music onto the phone and provides enough space to store them. This phone offers durability and great battery life that allows you to hear music for continuous 30 hours. Unlike other music phones you will never miss a call or automatic disconnection of your unexpected but important calls. A direct button makes you instantly accessible to the walkman music player which can be used independently of the phone allowing its usage at the flight mode. Historically, the flight mode option was available with the extreme high end consoles like P910i.

Apart from music, a 1.3 mega pixel camera makes it possible to capture the precious moments of life. The option of video recording, sound recording with 4x zoom for close-ups creates more urge to own it. These still pictures and video clips can be stored via MMS or Bluetooth, and also be transferable to PC’s, laptops and other mobile phones via cables and Bluetooth.
