Today, at a press conference in New York, T-Mobile, with HTC and Google announced the official unveiling of the T-Mobile G1, the first Android OS (INFO) on TV on the market. G1 is a capable 3G phone which was manufactured by HTC and has so far been best known by its code name, the HTC Dream.

T-Mobile G1 sports a large touch screen display similar to that found on the Apple iPhone, although it is slightly larger in size, 3.17 “in diagonal, and offers a full range 65k HVGA (480×320 pixel ) Resolution. Since the display makes use of capacitive touch screen (INFO) technology, it can be activated by very light touches, something that all HTC Windows Mobile smartphones were hitherto not able to ask. When the device is held horizontally and the display is slid up, G1 The full QWERTY keyboard is revealed in a way that many T-Mobile Sidekick users will appreciate.

The keyboard on the T-Mobile G1 is very spacious, with 5 Full rows of buttons in a very traditional pattern that most everyone should be familiar. Another Sidekick is like touching the G1 of the trackball, which facilitates one-handed navigation tasks. The trackball is surrounded by calls and send keys to the house on his back and left and end call buttons on the right. A dedicated menu key is located directly above the ball.
